In my spare time last-night i designed a james bond poster style design . again demonstrating gradients and color overlays to create a barreled gun effect. the path was cut out from an image, and placed on the design with a gradient overlay. the texture in the background was a picture of a cloud with a swirled and with the opacity down to around 50%. then using the dodge and burn tools i added lightness and darkness to the left and right side of the image to create a shadowing effect.
